Shared Education in Action: A Transformational Journey in Ballycastle
Now in her fourth year as School Leader at Cross and Passion College, Mrs G Duffy continues to champion a pioneering model of shared education in partnership with Ballycastle High School. With over 40 years of collaboration between the two schools, their joint curriculum at Key Stage 4 and 5 stands as a testament to the power of unity, inclusion, and innovation in education.
This enduring partnership has culminated in a landmark achievement: a £72 million investment in a new shared campus in Ballycastle. Phase 1 of the project will be completed in June 2026, with both schools set to relocate on 19th June. This new learning environment will not only enhance educational provision but also serve as a beacon for shared education across Northern Ireland.
