Mrs Maud Perry has served as Principal of Down High School, an 11–18 grammar school in County Down, since 2016. Working closely with the Education Authority and McAdam Design, she has overseen the delivery of a new, state-of-the-art school building that meets the needs of 970 pupils and around 80 staff.

Before joining Down High, Mrs Perry held senior leadership positions in England, including Deputy Headteacher for Student Development at George Abbot School, Guildford, an outstanding 11–18 comprehensive recognised among the top 100 non-selective state schools nationally.

Mrs Perry is dedicated to building a vibrant, compassionate school community where every young person is supported to thrive and achieve their best.
